December 2024 - SIAMS Church School Report

Our Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) report is now available to view on this link.  The report highlights the fact that St Margaret's is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish.  I have included some of the key points from the report below

  • The school's vision and values are embedded in the daily life of school and a deep sense of belonging is promoted.
  • There  is a strong emphasis on wellbeing at St Margaret’s, inspired by the importance of the school being a loving and safe learning community.

  • Pupils have an understanding of justice and act as agents of change, which is a direct outworking of the school’s vision of shaping the future.

  • The school's vision is aspirational and provides the foundation for our curriculum.

  • Leaders continually strive to make improvements to the school, driven by the values of love and hope.

  • Religious Education is  a strength of the school, with a bespoke and inspiring curriculum meeting the needs of the school community.

I hope you will have the time to read the report in full which celebrates St Margaret’s distinctiveness as a Church school. Should you require a paper copy of the report please contact the school office who will be more than happy to provide one.

If any parent requires a paper copy of the information on our school’s website, we will provide this free of charge.  Thank you.
